Major made us a pasta and meat sauce dinner and we ate in bed, naked and loving it. I’d heard that shifters didn’t mind being naked as it was just a part of their culture, but with the way I felt at ease walking around this cabin in all my glory, I wondered if I should have been born a shifter too.

We talked until we fell asleep in each other’s arms. I’d seen Major act as the spokesperson for the ISC a number of times, but he impressed me with his intelligence and the way he looked at the world. He’d already had a full life and it seemed like he was completely open to starting a new one here in Alaska. And after my time here, and especially now, I was ready to help make that happen.

The sun didn’t rise until almost ten now, so when Major stirred beside me it was still dark outside. His alarm went off a minute later and he groaned when he turned it off. Rolling back against me, he kissed my neck and nuzzled his chin against my skin. “I don’t want to get up,” he mumbled.

I giggled and pushed my hips back into his erection. There was no denying the sexual compatibility between us and I was in complete agreement that I didn’t want him to leave and go on his fundraising date.

“You smell jealous again,” he teased.

I rolled onto my back and pulled his head against my breasts. “And what if I am? I’m not going to deny that I don’t want to share you with anyone.”

Then he moved to the other side and repeated the same move. I didn’t know if shifters bit their mates to claim them, but I definitely wanted Major to sink his teeth into me. I couldn’t explain it, but I’d never been so comfortable with a man. Even my ex-husband who loved to try new things, didn’t compare to the total trust I had for Major. He could do whatever he wanted to with my body and I knew I would let him.

His lips move inward and landed on my clit. He sucked and pulled at it with his magnificent mouth and then let his tongue dance around. Up and down my folds, I could feel myself swell around him. And when he used his fingers to move deep inside, I knew I couldn’t last much longer. I grabbed his head and pushed him further into me. He laughed against my skin and gave me everything I was asking for.
